The exhibition area is located in the east wing of Patarei. Entrance is from the side facing the Port of Tallinn either from Suur-Patarei cul-de-sac through the gate, or from the seaside promenade through the small gate.
Parking is in the public car parks surrounding Patarei for the set fees.
NB Access for visitors with disabilities is very restricted, as Patarei is not a finished museum. If the weather is not warm enough, it might be cold inside. The exhibition area is on two floors and there is no lift. Visitors with heightened sensitivity have to take into account the authenticity of the prison interior and the dramatic nature of the exhibition’s theme.
