Opening of a photo exhibition “Photos of Gulag forced labour camps by August Ruben”
On the Day of Mourning and Commemoration, on 14 June 2020, a photo exhibition “Photos of Gulag forced labour camps by August Ruben” is opened in Patarei’s former gym.
The exhibition brings to light rare pictures of everyday life in a Soviet prison camp taken by Forest Brother August Ruben, who was imprisoned by the Soviet regime. The exhibition can be seen in the Patarei Prison exhibition area “Communism is Prison”. Admission with a ticket.
